Yes. We received our tax-exempt status in 2013. You can see our documentation here.

Yes. We are associated with the Appoquinimink School District in that that we support the students and staff of the district.
However, we are a completely independent and volunteer-run organization. We have have no legal or financial ties to the district. All grants undergo the same non-biased review and consideration process.

No. The Appoquinimink Foundation has, and always will be, completely separate from the district-run Friends of Appoquinimink organization.

Yes. The Appoquinimink Foundation is legally known as the Foundation for Appoquinimink Schools.
