Appoquinimink Foundation

  • Yes. We received our tax-exempt status in 2013. You can see our documentation here.

  • Yes. We are associated with the Appoquinimink School District in that that we support the students and staff of the district.

    However, we are a completely independent and volunteer-run organization. We have have no legal or financial ties to the district. All grants undergo the same non-biased review and consideration process.

  • No. The Appoquinimink Foundation has, and always will be, completely separate from the district-run Friends of Appoquinimink organization.

  • Yes. The Appoquinimink Foundation is legally known as the Foundation for Appoquinimink Schools.
